The best thing we can do to encourage our loved ones to follow Jesus,
is to try our best to be just like Him. Let us forgive others when
they need our pardon. Let us be willing to listen to them, and get out
of our way to help them and hear them out.
Let us not allow what other people say about them, cloud our
perceptions. Let us love them even when they are acting up, and are
unlovable. Most of all, may our hearts have the capacity to give
second, third, and more chances for them to change and become a better
person.
Yes, it is difficult to do all that, but if it means helping our dear
ones get to know the love and peace that only Jesus can give them,
then it is all worth it.
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may
see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16

Reflection Question: Do you want to encourage others to follow Christ?
How are you trying to accomplish that now?
Conversation with the Lord: Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for allowing
us to shine your light to others. Please give us the grace to be more
like you so that we encourage more people, especially our loved ones
to start a relationship with you. Amen.
