As we pray and wait for God to help us with our problems, we can rest
assured that He will hear us, and will respond to us in one way or
another. If God decides not to make our problem go away, He will
surely give us the strength to endure it. He will also give us the
courage to face it, and the determination to do what we can to
overcome the struggle or make the most out of the situation.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
When He asks us to endure something, it is usually to teach us a
lesson on discipline, improve our character, or to help us develop
compassion for those in similar situations. Whatever the case may be,
He will be with us throughout our ordeal and His grace will always,
always be sufficient.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of
mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction,
so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction,
with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2
Corinthians 1:3-4
