God’s timing is not only best, it is perfect. We can never go wrong patiently waiting on a God who knows everything, and has the power to control all things. He knows and wants what is best for us, and as long as we align with His will we can be assured that we will get to live the abundant life that He has long planned for us.
“I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” Psalm 27:13-14
One of the most challenging things for most of us to bear is to wait for our prayers to be answered. To wait for the resolution of our concerns and let go of the anxieties that come with it. To hold on to God’s promises in the face of uncertainties and pain.
But as we get to know God’s character more through the study and reflection of His word, and consistent prayer and devotion, we will develop a deeper trust in Him, His will, and His timing. We will begin to realize that as we lift up our concerns to Him, we are assured that His response to our issues will always work out for our good. Â
“But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
