Whenever we feel powerless, may we remember that we serve a God who can soar above, plunge beneath, and roam around the earth in an instant. Our problems, whatever they may be, are minuscule in relation to His power and strength. Nothing is too hard for Him.
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.” Isaiah 40:28
And because God is faithful, He will either bring us out of our troubles or bring us through it. All we need to do is trust Him and continue following His ways.
“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
We may not always understand why we need to endure difficulties, especially when we strive hard to walk in God’s ways. But our Lord assures us that the struggles we face will in the end, be for our
greater good.
“No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17
Thank you for reading through our devotional today. I invite you to ponder on Isaiah 55:6-12 to dig deeper on today’s topic.
Reflection Question: Do you have the tendency to forget or doubt God’s power whenever you feel powerless from all struggles you are facing? How can His true character assure you He has got you, in the midst of all your troubles?
Conversation with the Lord: Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that I can count on your omnipotence and sovereignty as I traverse difficult seasons in my life. Give me the grace and confidence to continue
holding on to my hope and faith in you as I go through trials. Amen.
