Peace is not the absence of pain and struggles. It is having the assurance that no matter what you are going through, you can endure. You can endure because you trust in the sovereign God who made the blueprint of your life. Existing problems do not bother you too much because you know what truly matters.
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3
God’s Peace
God-given peace frees us from excessive worrying because we have surrendered our fate to the One who is truly in control. And in our heart we know that everything He allows us to go through is for our good, and His glory.
Indeed, when we truly know Jesus, we can take hold of His gift of hope, faith, contentment, and true joy that leads to lasting peace.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
