If this Sunday’s Father’s Day celebration left you feeling empty. Whether it was because of your own personal lack or your children not having the kind you have envisioned them to have. Take heart, God is
reaching out to you.
He is reaching out with strong, loving arms, ready to pour out His love on all the parched places of your soul. As our Heavenly Father, His grace is sufficient. His heart is big enough to love us all, and
be ever present for those who need Him the most.
“A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.” Psalm 68:5
If you are feeling empty, because your kids missed out on the opportunity of having a great dad, then lead them to the Lord. By letting them know that they have the best Father one could ever have — they will grow up secure. They will know in their heart that someone will always, always be there to provide, protect, and guide them through life.
“When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the Lord will take care of me.” Psalm 27:10
Never leaves, never forgets
Knowing God means the kids will know that they have a dad who will never let go. Who will never abandon, and will love them for who they are. A Heavenly Father who disciplines with love, and is forgiving enough to forget mistakes. He will never tire of leading His children to the right path. God is embracing you and your children today.
“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.” Isaiah 49:15
Thank you for reading our devotional today. Kindly read Psalm 27:7-14 for a deeper dive on today’s topic.

Conversation with the Lord: Heavenly Father, thank you that I can lean on you and my children have you too. We know that with you we have the best Father one could ever have. Give us the grace and confidence to continue looking up to you my Lord. Amen.
