Daily devotional: Incomprehensible

There are things in life we would never understand. Situations we could never comprehend. But when we find ourselves groping for answers, and seeking for reasons, to no avail, may we instead choose
to trust in the One who knows it all.

Psalm 18:30
Psalm 18:30

“Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?”Romans 11:33-34

Confidence that will not be shaken

Our Heavenly Father asks us to remain faithful and confident in His good and perfect plans for our lives. And while we may not get the answers we want on our own timeline. Or find out the reasons behind
things that happened to us, may our hearts be strong enough to continue to hold on to His word.

“Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” Psalm 139:6

And so, instead of wrestling for answers, let us just succumb to His loving embrace. Find comfort in His loving arms. Fully trusting that as long as He is number one in our hearts, we will not need to have
all the answers. In Him, we can endure, and all will be well, in His perfect time.

“This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.” Psalm 18:30

Thank you for reading today’s devotional. Kindly read Isaiah 55:8-9 for a deeper dive into our topic.

Reflection Question: Do you feel like you do not have the answers to some of the questions that you ask God? How does His assurance that He knows everything and has the best plans for you comfort you in this season? What steps will you take to help you trust more on His wisdom?

Prayer Point: Heavenly Father, thank you that in you we are assured that everything that we are facing is pre-determined. That everything will be for our good. Thank you that as we put our faith in you we have the confidence to stay hopeful no matter our circumstances. Keep us strong in faith Lord. Amen.
