The God who calls us to follow Him is the same God who paved the way we will be traversing. He knows about the twists and bends. He knows about all the dangers that are lurking around.
He also knows about our capability to handle challenges along the way. He would not ask us to go through something we cannot handle and has graciously equipped us so we can endure trials we will face.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
And so as He calls us to obedience, may we see beyond the possible discomfort, losses, and sufferings. May we focus on its positive outcome. And may we soon realize that the blessing would not just benefit us but those who surround us.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
