Every God-honoring choice you make, undos a wrong decision you have made in the past. Give God the time to work in your life, to transform your way of thinking and decision making.
Give yourself the grace to continue hoping to be consistent in making godly choices, no matter how slow the pace. God’s loving presence in our lives is transformative.
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26
When we continue to sincerely seek the Lord in prayer, in studying His word, and in worship, we inch forward towards becoming the person He has always called us to be.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5–6
Thank you for reading through our devotional today. I invite you to ponder on Jeremiah 32:38-40 and Philippians 1:6 to dig deeper on today’s topic.
Reflection Question: Do you get frustrated when you cannot make godly choices right away? Or whenever you fail in following Jesus? How can knowing that failure is not final when we resolve to keep on trying to follow Jesus?
Conversation with the Lord: Heavenly Father, thank you that we can rely on your sufficient grace to change our ways. Give us the confidence to continue hoping in you that you will transform our lives and bear fruit. Amen.Â
