Baon Recap: Week 11 of baon for kids

Baon for kids: week 11
Baon for kids: week 11

Hi everyone, risen from the brunt of chores! Here’s Achie’s baon recap last week — in the hopes of helping newbie school mommies plan their little’s baon for the whole week.

Again, please be mindful of the portions for possible choking hazards, allergies, and school baon guidelines. For those with little one’s enrolled in schools with stricter school baon policies, hope you can check out our Pasado sa Dep Ed Baon Album over at our Facebook Page.

Baon for kids

Without further ado, here’s a recap of Achie’s baon last week:

MONDAY: Gigantic pichipichi with shredded coconut (storebought), half a fuji apple, and gigantic plain saba banana chips.

First time to see gigantic banana chips in the weekend market. Just got the plain ones, but they have flavored ones too like sour cream, cheese and barbecue.

TUESDAY: Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly Sandwiches, Nori Cracker Rolls and Milk Chocolate Drink.

PB and J addicts all three of my kids so this is an easy baon decision for us. Haha.

WEDNESDAY: Plain rice cake with latik topping, ripe mango cubes, and buco juice.

Glad that Achie loves rice cake based meryendas. Mabubuhay ang batang ito sa countryside.

THURSDAY: Potato empanada, wheat crackers, corn kernels on half of a fresh avocado.

I bought several empanadas but Achie's fave turned out to be the potato-raisin empanadas. Okay lang, mas mura pa nga!

FRIDAY: (extended school day) Korean chicken barbecue, rice, diced hopia, mango chips, and cashew nuts.

Fave nya talaga ang Korean chicken barbecue that is why I always have a marinade ready in the freezer para sa madaliang requests.
