Week 1: Weekly school snack baon ideas

I posted over the weekend our weekly school snack baon ideas posts over at instagram @happypinaymommy. Im hoping to share with you on a weekly basis, the snack box contents of my little school girl so that newbie school mamas could have more ideas on what to pack for their school kids in the coming week. Think of it as a weekly baon plan to help you map out your child’s school snack for the week.
I will endeavor to post on a weekly basis for your easy reference. Weekends most likely to help you through your grocery shopping. Of course i will continue to update our Facebook baon serye album so that you can just tag yourselves or browse there easily as well. Check out our past baon serye posts for your children here.

School snack baon ideas posted every weekend

For the pilot week of our “this week’s baon” snack box series, please find below short descriptions of my eldest’s baon box contents.
Again, am not claiming that these are all super healthy (but it is not all bad either). Like other moms i would just like to provide snack food she would enjoy eating, fill her up and give her the energy to learn and play.

P.S. She has a water bottle with her every.single.day the extra drinks are just that — extra.

This week’s baon: week #1

MONDAY — Mini peanut butter sandwiches, corn on the cob, strawberry yogurt, and panaderia twisty donut.

TUESDAY — Fresh Papaya chunks, dried mangoes, wafer cubes, a piece of gelatin, and a fruit punch box.

The fresh papaya chunks were frozen overnight, and i added a squeeze of calamansi before packing it up. Come recess time it had been a cold, sweet but tangy treat!

FRIDAY — Panaderia Fresh Cheesy Buttery Log, choco wafers and mini hopia.

These buttery-cheesy logs are heaven especially when freshly baked! How i wish i had the talent.
