]]>Sharing with you one of our favorite breakfast meals – tortang dilis. This goes well with a simple side of ensaladang okra with sweet vinegar.

For newbie cooking mamas interested in making the same dish here’s a rough idea on how:

1. Wash the fresh dilis thoroughly and set aside. I cooked half a kilo.
.
2. In a bowl combine one beaten egg, 1 cup of water, 1 cup of cornstarch, half cup of flour, a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of pepper and a dash of patis. .
3. Once mixed evenly add in one diced medium onion and the fish.
.
4. Heat cooking oil and cook just like pancakes flipping after about three to four minutes
.
5. Drain excess oil and serve immediately.
.
