This chicken lomi recipe is yet another P100 family meal idea!<\/p><\/div>\n
Ingredients<\/i><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
One pack fresh lomi<\/p>\n
One egg<\/p>\n
Boiled chicken breast, flaked or sliced thinly<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
2 cloves of garlic, minced<\/div>\n
1 medium onion, chopped<\/div>\n
1 medium carrot, sliced<\/div>\n
1 tbsp cornstarch mixed in 4 tbsp water<\/div>\n
6 cups of chicken stock or plain water (to make chicken stock just boil some chicken bones, a bit of chicken meat, plus onions and other veggies in the ref like carrots, cabbage, beans and then season with salt and pepper).<\/div>\n
Chinese Cabbage shredded<\/div>\n
Pinch of salt<\/div>\n
\n
Pinch of pepper<\/p>\n
Optional: Patis and sesame oil<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Procedure in cooking easy chicken lomi recipe:<\/h2>\n
1. Wash the noodles thoroughly in water. Fully immerse it in water that has just boiled for about three minutes, then drain. Wash again and set aside.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
2. In a pot, saute onion and garlic.<\/div>\n

3. Add the chicken and then the stock or plain water.<\/p>\n

4. Bring to a boil then simmer for about five minutes.<\/p>\n
5. Add the drained noodles and cook for about 10 minutes.<\/p>\n
6. Add in the cabbage and the carrots.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

7. Beat the egg in a bowl and then pour into the pot. Stir the mixture until the beaten egg has been cooked<\/p>\n
8. Add in the cornstarch mixture or the slurry and stir continuously until the lomi soup thickens.<\/p>\n
9. AT THIS POINT YOU CAN NOW GET A SEPARATE PORTION FOR YOUR BABY AND TODDLER SO THEIR SOUP WILL BE UNSEASONED.<\/p>\n
10. You can now season the lomi soup accordingly with salt and pepper or with patis if you wish.<\/p>\n
11. Simmer again for about two minutes. Then serve.<\/p>\n
12. Optional: add a dash of sesame oil prior to serving.<\/p>\n
