Hi everyone, sharing with you this super easy to cook crunchy salt and pepper liempo. With just plain salt and pepper you get this super yum and crunchilicious liempo that will surely get your kids wowwing.<\/p>\n

It is super easy to cook, that im sure newbie cooking mamas will not have any qualms trying to cook this. The key is getting a not so thick slice of fresh liempo and surely it would be very easy for you to make this dish extra special. Here is a rough procedure:<\/p>\n

How to cook salt and pepper crunchy fried liempo<\/h1>\n
1. Tenderize the liempo by boiling and simmering in water with a tablespoon of salt and a pinch of pepper for about 30 minutes.<\/p>\n
2. Pat dry, season with a bit of salt and pepper, and allow to rest. Meanwhile heat up cooking oil for deep frying.<\/p>\n
3. Once the oil is hot enough, deep fry the liempo slices till desired crunchiness. Mine looks very crunchy because that is how my family likes it – extra crispy. So ny frying went on for like four to five minutes.<\/p>\n
4. Drain excess oil in paper towels and serve hot with atchara or any veggie dish on the side.<\/p>\n
