How to make christmas pastillas<\/p><\/div>\n

Was so busy to play with them today so i *commissioned* the two littles to make pastillas de leche while i am working on some write-ups.<\/p>\n

The pastillas do not look perfect but they are surprisingly fun to eat. Milky and not too sweet \u2764 and of course i had a lot to tidy up after they were done making their sweet, milky treat.<\/p>\n

I think the 15 minute tidying up is well worth the solid hour of fun for them and writing for me \ud83d\ude04 i was watching them while they were doing they project and i get to see their happy faces while rolling milky dough on their hands. Haha happy mess to clean! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

For newbie mamas who would like to make colored pastillas de leche with their littles, here’s a simple procedure:<\/p>\n

Pastillas de Leche Recipe<\/h2>\n

1\/2 Cup Condensed Milk
\n1 to 2 Cups Skim or powdered milk (add gradually)
\nFavorite food coloring (gel or liquid)
\nSugar
\nSeparate bowls for each color you want to make.<\/p>\n

Procedure<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

In a bowl, pour condensed milk. Add one color and mix. Add just enough milk powder to form a sticky dough. Once you are able to form a ball, roll the balls in a mixture of powdered milk and sugar. Put in small chocolate liners or insert a pick \ud83d\ude0d serve!
