Here’s a simple Chicken Asadong Kapampangan recipe, I am hoping you ladies will also love \ud83d\ude42 <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\nI may not hail from this province, but am truly a fan of Pampango cuisine! I have an aunt who married into a Kapampangan and she has perfected this recipe. Was not able to ask her how she cooks it, so I just researched. nothing beats hers though, but this one will make you reach out for the rice platter a second time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyway, I have been meaning to cook Kapampangan Asado and finally had the courage! Amoy palang ulam na. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Easy Kapampangan Asado <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
For newbie cooking mamas who would like to cook the recipe here is a simple procedure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CHICKEN ASADONG KAPAMPANGAN<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Marinate your choice chicken cuts in soy sauce and kalamansi mixture. Best of overnight in the ref but three to four hours would be fine already. Make sure to marinate the chicken in the refrigerator.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. In a pan, pour a bit of olive oil and about two tbsps of butter. Sear the chicken pieces until brownish — this will take about 5 – 6 minutes on low heat depending on the size of the chicken cut. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Remove the chicken from the pan. Meanwhile, saute in the same pan a medium sized onions, six pieces of chopped tomatoes, 3 cloves of minced garlic and bay leaves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Make sure that the tomatoes are overly cooked. Add a bit of soy sauce again and some brown sugar. Simmer and adjust to taste.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. Once the taste is fine with you, put the chicken back on the pan, and simmer it for about 12 minutes on low heat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
6. Drizzle some atsuete oil before turning off the heat! Serve with steaming hot rice! Yum!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
