My suggested screen-free activity for the week is donut decorating. Kids will have so much fun decorating donuts , as it also doubles up as a pretend activity for them.

You just need some sprinkles on hand which can be bought from the baking aisles in your favorite grocery, any bakestore, or online. These are really affordable too.
Screenfree activities for kids under lockdown
So it had been another happy and messy afternoon in our household. I baked some chocolate cake donuts for the first time and the littles were thrilled to decorate them!!
Sprinkles upon sprinkles of fun colors that got them all entertained! A happy screenfree activity that gets everyone busy and happy, and at the same time it satisifies the cravings.
I haven’t summoned the courage to buy donuts since the lockdown. I figured I could just bake some and hit two birds with one stone: fill tummies and keep kids busy!
But if you do not have the time or the ingredients to bake donuts on your own, then ring up a trusted baker for delivery, heat the donuts in the oven as an extra safety precaution, before handing it over to the kids to decorate and eat.
