Whenever we think our life is beyond fixing. When we think that we
could never have true joy and inner peace because we have messed up
our life so badly. May we remember that our Heavenly Father’s loving
hand can fix anything. And in His graciousness, those hands are
extended to us.
In His highest wisdom, He has anticipated all the mistakes we could
ever make. He has made alternative routes for all the wrong turns we
could ever take, so that we could return back to Him. Nothing we can
do could prevent His transformative love from undoing every wrong
thing that has happened in our life.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my
ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your
thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
No matter what situation we find ourselves in. Whether we have been
intentionally wronged by others, or we willingly dug up our own pit
due to our moral failures, He can still fix us.
He can still make us the best versions of ourselves. All we need to do
is to own up to our mistakes, ask for His forgiveness, and follow Him
moving forward.
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,” Acts 3:19
Our struggles may not magically go away, but they will be more
bearable. We can endure because we now possess the hope that only He
can give. We can feel peace even amidst the pain. And though we may
still have to live through the consequences of our past mistakes, we
can feel that we are no longer chained. That there is a bright future
waiting for us, as we try our best to live a God-honoring life.
Thank you for reading our devotional today. Kindly read Acts 3:19-21 and Psalm 23:3 for a deeper dive on today’s topic.
Reflection Question: Do you feel like there is something in your life
that God could not fix? What step would you take this week to
surrender unfixable things to God and allow Him to transform your
life?
Conversation with the Lord: Heavenly Father, thank you that there is
nothing that is unfixable for you. Thank you, you love me so much to
extend your gracious and loving hand to fix the mistakes I have
willfully made in my life. Help me to surrender all and trust in You.
Amen.
