God’s deliverance may not always take place through the immediate removal of our troubles. Not through instant solutions to our problems, or our outright healing. It could also come through a strengthened heart, spirit, and faith that could muster not just today’s grief. Instead, a heart that could also face future challenges through our hope in Jesus Christ.
“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” 1 Peter 5:10
Ability to face challenges
The ability to face future inevitable hardships with hope and endurance is a grace showered upon us by God. He does this when He chooses not to deliver us from our problems right away.
His sufficient grace sustains us just so we can hold on and endure until the difficult phase passes. And as we get to experience His presence during hard times, that certainty of His being with us, will sustain us. It will assure our hearts and strengthen our soul because we know how faithful He is to His promises.
For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:13

Conversation with the Lord: Heavenly Father, thank you that even the lag time between the resolution of our problems and our doing though it, is intricately planned in your sovereign will. Teach me to trust in you more, and be confident that you will always be faithful. Amen.
