Our tender-hearted Savior meets us where we are, and showers us with His generosity and goodness even before we come to Him.
He touches our lives even before we decide to surrender it to Him. He lovingly bestows us with His mercy and forgiveness when we humbly seek Him.
“But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.” Psalm 86:15
In reality, Jesus did not only love us the moment we decided to love and follow Him. He loved us first.
“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
God loved us despite our failures and sinfulness. He is just waiting for us to turn to Him. He has always been with us our whole lives, and He is just knocking at the doors of our hearts waiting for us to finally get to know Him.
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20
