Even as He is the King of kings, our Lord is concerned even with the
tiniest detail of our lives. He longs to hear even our most mundane
prayer. He is glad to listen to our concerns about our daily routine.
“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he
will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he
will exult over you with loud singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
And so when we look at life through the lens of gratefulness and
faith, we will realize that everything in our lives has been tended
upon by a loving and gracious Father who dotes on us.
A loving Dad who never takes His eyes off of us and sees our unshed
tears. He comes close enough to hear our slightest whimper, and He
knows each of our needs, even before we ask Him. Let us take a moment
today to thank Him for all of it.
“Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you
mountains! For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion
on his afflicted ones.” Isaiah 49:13
