Garlic butter shrimp

For newbie cooking mamas, I want to assure you that this dish is so easy and quick to make that cleaning up the shrimp and snipping its antenae and horns take longer than the cooking process itself! Here’s a rough procedure:

QUICK & EASY BUTTER GARLIC SHRIMP

.
1. Clean up the shrimp and boil it in sprite or 7 up with a seasoned with salt and pepper. My ratio is half kilo of shrimp for an 8-ounce bottle.
.
2. Once the shrimp turns orange, remove from heat and discard the soda. .
3. In a pan drizzle some olive oil and add two tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and saute for about 30 seconds careful not to brown it. Add in the shrimp and season once again with salt and pepper and if you wish, some chili flakes. If you have taba ng talangka, you can add a spoon or two as well but this is entirely optional.
.
4. Toss for another minute or two, then serve with steamed rice.

Quick and easy, as I promised! Soent less than 300 for half a kilo of Shrimps, 8 ounce of Sprite, bit of butter and drizzle of olive oil.

Hope you get to try it and let me know via any of our social media channels.
