Weekly Meal planning helps us a lot in terms of saving on our grocery budget, and at the same time, in preparing meals for the rest of the week.
So here is our weekly meal plan for the period of June 29-July 5:

Again, I am trying to incorporate more meatless meals here. Most of the meals though reflect the ingredients that I have in our pantry, freezer and ref.
I am actually kind of excited over doing a full blown Arroz ala Cubana over the weekend. I am hoping I could buy nice saba bananas, because sometimes all I see in the supermarket are unripe ones. I will soon be experimenting on making minatamis na saba, because I absolutely love saba con hielo. I am just really scared about washing my pot. Will the sugar stick or what?
