Baby Carriers, especially SSCs or the Soft-Structured Carriers are quite expensive and not all families can easily afford one.

Luckily, there are shops that rent out SSCs like Tula, Jumpsac and the like so that parents, especially moms, can get the feel of owning an SSC Carrier even before they finally purchase one.

So for moms out there who may want to try out a Tula, or any SSC for that matter, here is a list of–

Where to Rent Baby Carriers in the Philippines:

  1. Wear your Baby PH – Is a “local LENDING/RENTAL LIBRARY of ERGONOMIC Baby Carriers.” The page DOES NOT rent-to-own nor sell baby carriers, instead it is created to help Filipino parents make a better and more informed decision before buying a baby carrier. Its owner, Mommy Camille is a Babywearing advocate who wants to share the love and benefits of babywearing to parents and their babies, hence she made the pioneering decision to start a carrier rental page. Check out Wear Your Baby PH here.
  2. Baby Carrier Rental PH – Is an FB-Based SSC Rental service. They Rent out Tula (P250.00 per week), Girasol (P200.00 per week), Ubba Wrap at P150 a week, and Lenny Lamb at P250.00 per week. You will then have to pay a deposit on top of the rental fee, the amount of which will depend on the carrier. Of course the deposit is fully refundable if you return the carrier in the same condition you got it. Shipping fees may apply. Here’s a link to their FB page.

ERRATUM/UPDATED: July 14, 2016: Apologies to the owner of Wear Your Baby PH — Their FB Page apparently just lends/rents out carriers, and makes reviews/tests. Please see updated shop description above.
