Living in a small space like a condominium unit without somewhere to line dry clothes is definitely a challenge to any mom who would like to give cloth diapering a try.
But it can be done.
With the help of new technology, a systematic washing routine, drying hangers and racks, plus loads of determination and patience, a condo living mom can still reap the benefits of cloth diapering.
Here are cloth diapering tips for families living in condominiums:
1. Go for a system that would allow for easy drying like flats and covers. Flats are easy to clean, and dries quickly. Covers are that way too. If you want to use pockets, just make sure you have enough shells and inserts in rotation to allow for drying time.
2. Get a reliable washing machine which has a heat and air dry function, or something like this. If that is out of the budget then get one that can at least efficiently wring-out water like this mid-priced automatic washing machine like this LG fully automatic. or a more affordable option like this.

3. Invest in a good collapsible or space-saving drying rack like this. If your condo unit does not come with a drying cage then the next best thing is to get an efficient and heavy-duty drying rack that you can set up on your living area at bedtime.
4. Experiment on what works for you. If octopus-style hangers work best for you then get enough of that, same if you prefer the hanger style sipitan.
5. Have a washing routine that works for you. Since you lack drying space then it would be best to do the laundry every other day so you would not have too many diapers to hang around your living area.
6. Invest in a good electric fan (this one is at a buy one take one promo as of posting in Lazada). Yes your 24/7 A/C wont cut it. You would really need the fan esp if your washer does not have the heat dry function.
7. Do the drying at night when no one is in the living area.
8. Since space is an issue, invest in a bigger wetbag that you can hang at the back of your bathroom door, instead of getting a diaper pail or hamper that will just eat up space in your restroom.
